Our goal at Kindred Studio is to take the mystery out of your skin’s health, and offer you a place to unwind, in a casual, judgement-free environment. Our estheticians use only high quality products along with tried and true practices to give you safe, effective treatments with lasting results. And what’s more, we’re dedicated to passing along our knowledge to you, because we believe that you should feel empowered when making decisions about your routine. After all, we’re not just guides. We’re partners.

Kindred Studio was born in 2018 with the goal of providing fun, approachable, educational skincare without judgment or pretense. We aren’t sales people & there are no bottom lines when it comes to your skin. If a pricey product is doing more harm than good, we’re going to let you know. If the best thing for you is on a shelf at the grocery store, we’ll tell you that too. Earning our clients trust—and keeping it!—is the cornerstone of our philosophy.

There may be some cheekiness to our approach, but never shame. (We don’t blame anyone for not understanding a purposefully convoluted industry!) We hope you feel comfortable coming to us with questions, no matter how big or small. We promise to answer them with gentleness and empathy.

Half of the battle of skincare is education. We want to empower our clients to make decisions for themselves and their skin needs, which means straightforward, knowledgeable answers about ingredients and services.

An ornate vintage scale has been the Kindred unofficial mascot since day one. Many of our clients come to us overwhelmed by the seemingly endless steps of a “correct” routine; we adjust this with an “everything in moderation” approach tailored to the individual. We aim to find the balance of effective and enjoyable self care.

Beginning her career at the AVEDA institute over 15 yrs ago, Kelly learned how to connect to clients and provide the most effective facial treatments with relaxing overtones. Over the course of her career, she has developed an extensive knowledge of tried and true practices to suit your individual skin’s needs. With a simple balanced approach, helping you achieve your healthiest skin is her true passion. In her spare time you can find her hiking with her rescue dog, Biscuit, tending to her extensive collection of plants or working on her latest ceramic project.

For Amy, there is always something new to learn (even after twelve years in the beauty and wellness industry.) She enjoys working with both holistic treatments and cutting edge skin science to find the best, most approachable facials and home routines for her clients. She was named Best Esthetician in Atlanta by Creative Loafing in 2015 & 2017 and is a certified Face Reality Acne Specialist. In her spare time you can find her doodling in her Hobonichi planner, hanging out with her daughter, Zelda or making Kindred’s weekly meme content.

Susan Gonzalez

Susan comes to Kindred Studio from a career in nursing. She enjoys giving her clients the necessary knowledge, tools and guidance to achieve their perfect skin and is passionate about helping others. As a cancer survivor, Susan's esthetic approach is full body; she addresses both internal and external factors to create a full picture of skin health for her clients. She is certified as a Face Reality Acne Specialist and one of a few Sculptural Facial Lift Practitioners in the state of Georgia. Check out more about the SFL on our advanced treatment page! In her spare time, you can find Susan in kickboxing class, working on home projects and tending to her garden.

Tiffany comes to Kindred from a med spa background with an emphasis on high performance treatments and cryotherapy. She attended Elaine Sterling Institute, where she developed a passion for helping her clients achieve their skin goals while building long term relationships. Her preferred treatments are dermaplaning, brow/lash tinting and facial massage & she is certified as a Face Reality Acne Specialist. In her spare time you can find Tiffany shopping at Trader Joe's, nerding out over Harry Potter or snuggling with her pup, Marley.

With over 14 years of experience in the esthetic field she continues to provide exceptional service in all things skincare, waxing, lash lifts, makeup, and beauty. Heather’s warmth and kindness is reflected in her abilities to make you feel understood and cared for inside and out. She’s your go-to Esthie for tween and teen skincare. When she’s not taking care of clients, you can find her raising her two girls, four animals and reading the latest and greatest books.
